Our WHY

Wondering why “THE INTEGRATION PROJECT”? Great question.

A project involves an objective. Each one of you who is here has a specific objective in mind, otherwise you wouldn’t be seeking out support.

A project has risk and uncertainty. Throughout this reality, STAY CURIOUS. It will be your greatest ally and best chance of goal achievement.

A project goes through a life cycle. A project will pass through all kinds of stages. These can include steps back, resistance, fear, judgment, planning, testing, joy, and success. Stay present through the stages and trust in the process.

And at the end of day, we are here to support meaningful and consistent integration. We are not here to get you ‘present to what is possible’ and then allow maladaptive habits to creep back in. We are here to keep you supported and tracking toward the peace and groundedness that you are craving.

We are honored to support the desired objectives of your own personal integration project.

Who We Are

Our vision is that no working woman feels lonely or lost. We know first hand the beauty AND the pain that comes with being a working woman. Whether it’s exhaustion from the hustle, fear about successfully navigating work and motherhood, or experiencing the anxiety that comes with questioning your purpose, we’ve been there.

In our luckiest moments, we had a group of strong women to support us. But often, we experienced these things in isolation. We created THE INTEGRATION PROJECT so you don’t have to navigate the journey alone.

Greer Van Dyck, M.A., CPC

Greer has been facilitating transformative experiences for individuals and teams for over ten years. Bravery is a core tenant of her work, and her small business supports organizations and people leaders to deepen their sense of self and integrate key learnings into the work environment.

She is passionate about creating systemic change through creating environments that foster bravery and instill action. Her experiences throughout her life and most recently into motherhood have ignited a passion for supporting women and she couldn’t be more excited that you are here exploring what THE INTEGRATION PROJECT is all about.

THE INTEGRATION PROJECT to her is an extension of what she feels strongly about: connecting through storytelling, giving individuals the time and space to explore who they are, and to provide tools to create meaningful sustained behavior change.

Greer is a Georgia native who now lives full time in Steamboat Springs, Colorado with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. When she isn’t facilitating groups or coaching people leaders, you can find her adventuring in nature.

Kara Fresk, Ph.D

Kara has spent her 20+ year career focused on helping people and organizations grow. She brings a both/and approach to her work, inspiring growth through action learning and reflection.

Kara is driven by the power of connection, whether connecting people or connecting dots. She loves watching what happens when things that seem isolated come together to create something stronger and more beautiful.

For Kara, THE INTEGRATION PROJECT is a place that brings connection and both/and thinking to life. In community, individuals will uncover blindspots and make connections between ideas and approaches that once seemed disparate, which leads to greater integration.

Kara lives near Athens, Georgia with her husband and daughter. Even though she’s acclimated to the Georgia weather and can’t imagine moving back north, a big piece of Kara’s heart remains in her home state of Minnesota. When she isn’t helping people and organizations grow, you’ll find her exploring the world - near and far.
